Maytown Australian Stock Horse Stud is a small scale horse stud located in Karridale, Western Australia.

 

The stud originated and was developed by the late Mr. Brian Bird who owned many quality mares and a brilliant stallion that he personally bred, Maytown Moon River-HSH.

 

When Mr. Bird passed he left his stallion to Mrs. Vanessa Weightman who also purchased two of his mares and two foals to carry on his legacy. 

 

Maytown ASH Stud breeds horses that adhere to the motto of the Australian Stock Horse Society, 'The Breed For Every Need.' We take care to breed horses from proven bloodlines that can excel in all disciplines whilst also maintaining great temperaments, excellent conformation and superb intelligence.

Maytown ASH's have excelled in an excessive variety of disciplines including; polocrosse, campdrafting, ASHS patterns, dressage, hacking, jumping and PPMG.
